Birthday parties and rentals have returned to FSS!!

Come make a splash for your next birthday party or group celebration! Choose your location, dates, times and package from the options below. Participants swim in our 90 degree, salt-water pools!

Things to Know
  • The most popular party is 1 hour of swim followed by 30 minutes of deck time. Pizza and cupcakes/cookies are popular items to eat during the deck time.
  • Our pools and deck air are kept at 90 degrees. Adults planning to watch the party on deck should dress accordingly and take breaks in the lobby or outside if they get too hot.
  • We run salt-water pools that do containe chlorine in them. 
  • Coolers with drinks and desserts can be kept in our lobby until it is time to use them (kept at around 76 degrees). You will want to avoid bringing anything that would melt, like ice cream, popsicles or chocolate.
  • No fridge, freezer, or cooking equipment available for party use.
  • No electrical outlets on the pool decks.
  • Facilities are older and, to our regret, not ADA accessible.
  • No life jackets available (deeper ends of pools are roped off for safety of young and non-swimmers, but confident swimmers are welcome to cross under the rope and utilize the full pool)
  • Party goers can bring toys and flotation devices from home.
  • An official lifeguard may not be available for every party. If this is the case, you will be notified. There will be FSS staff there to help monitor the swimmers and pool.
Policies
  • $50 deposit due with contract. Full payment due 48 hours prior to party.
  • All swimmers new to FSS must sign a recreation waiver form.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible to decide if a swimmer can enter the water on their own. (FSS recommends parents/guardians accompany ages 3 and under into the pool as well as older kids who are non-swimmers.)
  • Swimmers who are not potty-trained must wear a cloth reusable swim diaper.
  • FSS is not responsible for lost or broken items.
  • An official lifeguard may not be available for every party. If this is the case, you will be notified. There will be FSS staff there to help monitor the swimmers and pool.

Basic Rental Package

COST:
Current in-program participants: $225
Out of program participants: $275

Basic Rental Package Includes:

  • Your choice of facility (see below for details)
  • 1 hour of swim time
  • Up to 24 swimmers 
  • Changing room & set-up time:
    • Beaverton: 30 minutes (15 minutes before swim & 15 min after)
    • PDX location: 30 minutes (15 minutes before swim & 15 min after)
  • Equipment: Slide(s), basketball hoop(s), inflatable balls, large floating mats & noodle boats
  • 1 to 2 staff to monitor party
  • Deck furniture (chairs and folding tables)

Rental Add-ons

Customize your rental experience with:

  • 30 minutes additional swim time: $50 
  • 30 minutes deck/play-yard time for cake/presents: $25

Beaverton Location
  • Two indoor 90° saltwater pools
    • Pool One: 15′ wide x 30′ long; depth of 2′ to 4′
    • Pool Two: 18′ wide x 40′ long; depth of 3′ to 6′
    • Air temperature of 88°
  • Speakers on deck (tell us what kind of music to play)
  • Girls’ and Boys’ changing rooms containing:
    • Showers (body wash/shampoo available), toilets, baby
      changing stations, benches, hooks to store belongings
    • Girls’ room also has a baby playpen
    • Note: at 6 years old, children must use their gender’s
      changing room (or the poolside family changing stall)
  • Poolside family changing stall
    • Curtained area in corner of pool deck 
    • Accommodates all genders 
    • Contains baby changing station
  • Cubbies on deck to store belongings
  • Plenty of seating to observe pool activities
  • 4′ tall waterslide & floating tot-slide
  • Penguin Play Yard with toddler-size play equipment
    (open as weather permits)
Portland Location
  • One indoor 90° saltwater pool
    • 25′ wide x 48′ long; depth of 3′ to 8′
    • Air temperature of 88°
  • Speakers on deck (tell us what kind of music to play)
  • Girls’ & Boys’ changing rooms with:
    • Showers, toilets, baby changing stations,
      day-use lockers (bring your own lock)
    • Note: at 6 years old, children must use their gender’s
      changing room (or Family changing rooms)
  • 2 Family changing rooms:
    • One contains toilet and a sink (upstairs)
    • Other contains shower, toilet and a sink (downstairs in our lobby)
    • Accommodate all genders
  • Hot tub-sized play pool to play in during the party 
  • Shelves on deck to store belongings
  • Plenty of seating to observe pool activities
  • Floating tot slide & 4′ tall water-slide
  • Outdoor Play Deck with toddler ages play equipment (open as weather permits)
