Baby & Me
Farber Swim School is the perfect place to get your little one accustomed to and enjoying the water! We offer several programs for your 6 month to 35 month year old in our 90 degree indoor swimming pool. We also offer private and semi-private lessons for children ages 30 months and older.
Baby & Me ClassesThese classes are a great way to introduce children ages 6 months to 35 months to the water! They are 30 minutes in length and with assistance of adult helpers who are in the pool at all times, children will participate in water orientation, back floating, water safety, submersion, and water play. Children in these classes must wear a cloth swim diaper (read below for more information). |

Guppies (ages 6-17 months)
Wednesdays 10:00-10:30am
Children in this level work on:- Water orientation and comfort
- Underwater swims
- Back float
- Sit dives

Minnows (ages 18-35 months)
Wednesdays 10:30-11:00am
Children in this level work on the above Guppy items as well as:- Jumping off the side of the pool
- Rolling from their back to their stomach and from their stomach to their back
- Climbing out of the pool
- Jump turns (jumping from the side of the pool, swimming back to the wall and then climbing out of the pool).

Gold Fish (ages 17 months +)
Day/Time TBA
Children in this level are comfortable and relaxed underwater. They work on the above Minnow items as well as the below:- Diving for objects
- Self initiated glides

Fish Bowl (ages 6-35 months)
Wednesdays 6:30-7:00pm
Saturdays 9:30-10:00am
This Baby & Me class combines ages 6-35 months and the teacher instructs the pairs based on the ability/swim level of their child.
Cost: $10/pair/class (pay for a month at a time, unless it is a trial)
Ratio: 1 instructor/up to 6 pairs (need at least 2 pairs to run the class)
Custom group classes
If one of the above times does not work for your schedule, we offer private and semi-private lessons, or if you find at least one other pair, we can make one of the above classes for your group! The price varies depending on the size of your group:
- 2 pairs: $18/pair
- 3 pairs: $14/pair
- 4 pairs: $12/pair
- 5 pairs: $11/pair
- 6 pairs: $10/pair

Baby & Me Swim
This is an hour swim time that is designated for children ages 6 months to 35 months, who are accompanied by an adult helper. Adults and children will have access to our age appropriate toys and swim instruction equipment. Children must wear a cloth swim diaper if they are not potty trained.Time: Wednesday, 12:00-1:00pm
Cost: $5/adult, FREE/ages 0-3

Swim Diapers
We require our young swimmers to wear a cloth swim diaper for sanitary reasons. Our favorite brand is iPlay, which has been manufacturing swim diapers for over 15 years! Their swim diapers are reusable with an improved waterproof and absorbent design. Their diapers have 3 layers - a waterproof layer to prevent leaks, a super absorbent layer to absorb wetness and a wick-away lining to keep moisture from baby's skin. The outer material of this swimming diaper is a coated poly shell that has no PVC or phthalates and the absorbent layer has no super absorbent gels.We have iPlay diapers available for sale in the Farber Swim School office!
